Culture, political and economic in-equalities will widen the gap between rich and poor that will result in unexpected rifts and conflicts that in turn will result in uncontrolled violence of all sorts. The dominant way that we all are going to be in danger will be at the hand of handguns.
We need a real practical solution, not hot air talk of additional laws and regulations that are violated even by law obedient citizen when time get tough and they snap using their legally obtained guns to end their own life or others.
The millions of guns that are already in the hands of gun owners whether purchased legally or not are putting the rest of us a potential victim of gun violence and no one in the world can protect us unless we think logically and find a solution that will gradually reduce this danger.
